Pence explains vision for Indiana – “The governor called for creating regional councils that would work with businesses and educators to tailor high school vocational programs to available jobs.” Associated Press

Pence recognizes Hoosier priorities – “Pence supports the reforms Indiana has taken toward increased school accountability, including letter grades for schools. He proposes to put extra money toward rewards for high-performing teachers and school districts.” The Times of Northwest Indiana

Pence leads charge with education, tax-cut call – “Pence has supported school choice generally but now wants to remove the requirement that students first try public school for a year before being eligible for vouchers.” Fort Wayne Journal Gazette
