Gov. Mitch Daniels will become Purdue University's president in January. He's likely to earn a base salary similar to the outgoing president, France Córdova.

Memo outlines plan to pay Mitch Daniels base plus incentive – “The memo suggest Daniels’ base could be similar to that of President France Córdova, who is paid $465,750. Indiana University President Michael McRobbie earns $533,120 as a base salary. Ohio State’s Gordon Gee is the highest paid public school leader at $834,530.” Lafayette Journal and Courier
