Lary Schulhof earned All-American honors four times in two years at Indiana University, each time finishing directly in front of or behind a teammate. In 1962, he placed fifth in the 100 and fourth in the 200 butterfly, both right behind Mike Troy. In 1963, he finished one spot ahead of Fred Schmidt for fourth place in the 100 butterfly, and one spot behind him in the 200 butterfly for fifth place.
Dr. Schulhof received his A.B. and M.D. degrees from Indiana University, where he completed more than six years of postgraduate neurosurgical training, including a year of pediatric neurosurgery training at Riley Children's Hospital and a fellowship in Cambridge, England. He studied micro-neurosurgery in Zurich, Switzerland and in Gainesville, Florida. He subspecializes in spine surgery.
