Doc
Counsilman's swimming program lured Kevin Berry away from Australia to enroll
in Indiana University in the early 1960s.
Berry was on the 1964 Olympic team that Doc Counsilman coached. He won a gold medal in the 200-meter butterfly.
While at Indiana University, Kevin Berry achieved All-American honors three times, and was a member of the 1968 NCAA Championship team and the 1966-68 Big Ten Championship team.
