How Another Indiana District May Look Beneath School Property To Expand Resources

    First, a Terre Haute school strikes oil. Now, the Evansville Courier & Press prints this story from the AP about another southwestern Indiana district looking into, of all things, mining projects:

    “The Princeton Daily Clarion reports that a North Gibson school board committee is searching for a company best suited to designing and building the methane-capture project. The ultimate goal is to tap the gas under an elementary school and a high school campus to either generate electricity for the school buildings or provide fuel for the district’s bus fleet and other vehicles.”
