Travel with Rick Steves Now on Sundays

Rick Steves' program joins the WFIU schedule Sundays at 3 starting April 3.

Whirl around the world with WFIU! Travel with Rick Steves joins our program schedule this Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m.

It’s a fun, hour-long, practical talk show with guest experts and questions from travelers. The discussion covers not only exciting destinations but also general topics, including keeping healthy on the road, bicycling, sabbaticals, pilgrimages, sailing, fear of flying, and more. Each Sunday at 3 you can expect a lively conversation between travelers and the experts as we learn to explore our world smartly, smoothly, and thoughtfully.

You can preview recent installments of the program in the Travel with Rick Steves audio archive here. Or, you can hear any program in the series via podcasting.

Travel with Rick Steves replaces Weekend Radio with Robert Conrad, “that curiously strange and offbeat potpourri of music, wit, and convivial companionship” which, after three decades, has ended its run on WFIU. Robert has delighted audiences and inspired many programming ideas. He will be missed.
