With Heart and Voice could come back…
WFIU is working to bring back With Heart and Voice to our schedule. The program left the schedule after we found out that we would be charged for airing it. Unfortunately, state budget cuts as well as the current economic environment keep us operating in razor-thin fashion, with a frozen program acquisition budget line. Nonetheless, we are considering reinstating the program soon, with the hopes that fans of With Heart and Voice will contribute a little extra on November 7 and 14 to help pay for the program.

Celebrate with WFIU!
Please mark October 22 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on your calendar. This is the evening of the Annual WFIU Listener Reception, an event all WFIU staff look forward to. It’s an opportunity to meet with you, find out what you think, and enjoy snacks and wine. Some listeners have told me that it’s one of their best opportunities to meet other public radio listeners. It takes place in the Atrium of the Art Museum, on the Bloomington Campus. Hope you can come!
