Over the years it's been probably my most consuming hobby. Learning about wines, meeting people who make wines, helping other people learn to use wines.

A native Hoosier, Dr. Allen Dale "Ole" Olson is the wine steward at the Story Inn in Story, Indiana, and wine consultant for the Bloomington Herald-Times.

He hosts monthly wine tutorials at the Story Inn, judges the Indiana Wine Fair, and, with his wife Joan, leads annual food and wine tours to France, Switzerland, and Italy.

Olson serves as president of VinSense, Inc., an Indiana not-for-profit corporation that advocates for changes in wine laws in Indiana.
