Women's Studies Professor Susan Gubar

Susan Gubar is a professor of English and Women's Studies at Indiana University where she writes about critical race and gender issues in twentieth-century British and North American cultural contexts.

She is the co-author of "The Madwoman in the Attic: The Woman Writer and the 19th-Century Literary Imagination," "The Norton Anthology of Literature of Women," and a critical trilogy "No Man's Land: The Place of the Woman Writer in the Twentieth Century."

Her other books include "MotherSongs," a collection of poetry for and about mothers, and a collection of her essays, "Critical Condition: Feminism at the Turn of the Century."
