Stories from the Transom Workshop

Transom workshop participants James Gray and Colleen Leahy working intently on their laptops

Something different on this hour of Profiles; in fact, it’s a first for WFIU: an hour of short-form radio pieces that were produced by the ten participants at the Transom Traveling Workshop, the week-long radio storytelling intensive that took place this summer in the Radio-TV Building.

We'll hear pieces about David Davis, a colorful plumber who feels like a superman; a couple who keeps rhythm professionally; and a businessman who's in love with his baby water buffalo.

WFIU producers and workshop participants Annie Corrigan, James Gray, and Yaël Ksander host the program and take you behind the scenes to learn how the pieces were made.

Expect the unexpected during this hour of engaging audio excursions!
