I think what we’re facing right now is a media industry that is very uncertain about its future. They don’t know where their viewers are going or how to hold on to them, especially in network television.

He is a contributor to The New Ethics of Journalism, and author of Race-Baiter: How the Media Wields Dangerous Words to Divide a Nation. He has lectured or taught at Columbia University, Indiana University, and many other colleges.
