Mimi Zweig is a professor at the IU Jacobs School of music and is director of the Summer String Academy. She was Director of the String Academy of Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Assistant Principal Viola of the Indianapolis Symphony, and a member of the American Symphony, the Syracuse Symphony, and the Indianapolis Symphony.
For more than three decades she has developed children's string programs across the United States, and she leads master classes and pedagogy workshops throughout the world. Her students, including Joshua Bell, have won numerous competitions and teach and perform worldwide.
