Noon Edition

Author and Journalist David Margolick

We talked about history a lot in my house. We were curious about it, my brothers and I. So it's always been very much a part of my consciousness. I've always gravitated towards it.

David Margolick was previously at Newsweek and The New York Times, where he wrote a weekly legal affairs column and was nominated four times for the Pulitzer Prize.

He is the author of Beyond Glory: Joe Louis vs. Max Schmeling and a World on the Brink; Strange Fruit: The Biography of a Song; At the Bar: The Passions and Peccadillos of American Lawyers; and most recently, Elizabeth and Hazel: Two Women of Little Rock.
