"My current manuscript of poems directly addresses sexual violence. As someone who has experienced this violence firsthand, I have decided to use my experiences and recovery in a constructive way. I channel my activism through writing and volunteering with organizations such as Middle Way House, an essential resource for people who have experienced interpersonal violence in Southern Indiana."
