"We're coming to the beginning of a new era wherein the development of the inner self is the most important thing. We have to train ourselves. So that we can improvise on anything: a bird, a sock, a fuming beaker. This too can be music. Anything can be music."

-Don Preston

Tony Brewer is a poet, sound effects artist, and roller derby announcer. He has two books of poems, The Great American Scapegoat and Little Glove in a Big Hand, and he is the executive director of the Spoken Word Stage at the 4th Street Festival of the Arts in Bloomington, Indiana.
