Haines Eason reads "This Town Will Throw Itself at Anyone"

Haines Eason's (website) poems have appeared in many journals, including The Yale Review, New England Review, American Letters & Commentary, Barrow Street , Pleiades, and Indiana Review.

He regularly contributes criticism to American Book Review and Smartish Pace, is an Associate Editor with Boulevard, and attends the MFA program at Washington University in St. Louis.

His chapbook, A History of Waves, was selected by Mark Doty for a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship and will be published in spring 2010.  He is the 2010 winner of the Cream City Review Beau Boudreaux Poetry Prize.

Haines Eason recorded for The Poets Weave while in Bloomington, Indiana to attend and read his poetry as part of the Annual International Interdisciplinary Graduate Conference 2010 hosted by the Indiana University Department of English's Graduate Students.
