Not A Good Year For Morels

Indiana poet Suzanne Sturgeon reads poems about deer crossings, mushrooms, and things of long (and not so long) ago.

Suzanne Sturgeon lives on a farm in Owen County, Indiana with her husband, Mike Tracy. She is a member of the Free Range Poets, a local poetry group that published the book At Our Windows in 2009. Suzanne is an attorney in private practice in Bloomington, Indiana.

On this program, Suzanne reads “Faultline,” “To the Unnamed Deer I Met on Sale Street Last Night,” “Not a Good Year for Morels,” “Thank you, Dr. Spock,” “Heavy Rains,” and “Widow Abbott’s House is Gone.”
