Noon Edition's 9/11 Anniversary Special

This month, it will be ten years since the attacks of September 11th, 2001 changed America forever. To commemorate this monumental anniversary, Noon Edition's special 9/11 anniversary program will be broadcast on stations throughout Indiana.

Here on WFIU, you can join us live. On Friday, September 9th, we'll speak with 9/11 Commission Co-Chairman Lee Hamilton; sociologists Robert White, who specializes in terrorism and political violence at IUPUI and Mark S. Hamm, who specializes in criminology theory, terrorism and public policy at ISU, and who was a guest on Noon Edition the Friday after 9/11 ten years ago. We'll also hear from Safaa Zarzour (sa-FAH zar-ZOUR), Secretary General for the Islamic Society of North America, who will provide his perspective on how things have changed for Muslim-Americans in the last decade.

Visit Noon Edition online at to be part of our live chat, or join us on the air by calling in at 812-855-0811 or 1-877-285-WFIU. Noon Edition airs live, Fridays at 12:06.
