Indiana's Challenge to the Federal Health Care Act

The U.S. Supreme court debated the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act this week focusing on whether the government can require individuals to have health insurance.

This week, U.S. Supreme Court Justices are locked in debate over the constitutionality of the Obama administration’s proposed health care law. The law mandates that individuals obtain health insurance or face a penalty. Indiana is one of 26 states challenging that law in the court, and this week we’ll talk with opponents of the law as well as those who say requiring health care coverage is something the federal government should be allowed to do.
