The 2016 election was exhausting. A prelude of controversy and negative campaigns lead to election results emblematic of a nation divided.

Congressman Lee Hamilton is calling the political nature of the country the largest test representative democracy has yet faced. We spoke with Hamilton, who served in Congress for over 30 years. Lee Feinstein is the dean of the School of Global and International studies and joined us well.
