This past weekend’s Afterglow program was a birthday tribute to pianist and Piano Jazz host Marian McPartland. We featured many of McPartland’s own compositions (“Silent Pool,” “Ambience,” “Twilight World”) and clips from a 1975 interview that she did with Afterglow founding host Dick Bishop.
