The Indiana Career Council has created a taskforce that will examine community college best practices from around the country.
Governor Mike Pence named four people to the 16-person Indiana Career Council on Tuesday and the group's first major progress report is due in December.
Legislators considered a state constitutional amendment on hunting and fishing and a bill creating the Indiana Career Council and debated expanding Medicaid.
The council would encourage the education of more students in the manufacturing sector.
