Indiana University officials have released details of the severance agreement reached with former men’s basketball assistant coach Rob Senderoff. Under the agreement, Senderoff will receive a lump sum of $46,000, in addition to about $20,000 in unused paid time off. The document does not include any provision barring Senderoff from publicly discussing possible NCAA sanction violations under head coach Kelvin Sampson. IU officials announced Monday afternoon that Senderoff was voluntarily resigning, after an outside investigation indicated the assistant coach had connected Sampson to as many as 18 impermissible three-way recruiting phone calls. The Ice Miller report also indicates Senderoff himself was responsible for as many as 99 impermissible calls of his own.
