Questions Surround Discovery Of Five Bodies

Indiana State Police are warning residents to be careful who they let inside their homes. The warning follows the discovery of five bodies Sunday afternoon near the town of Laurel. Sgt. Jerry Goodin says four people were found shot to death at one home, and a man was found shot to death at a second home.

The Franklin County Sheriff‘s Department found the bodies while investigating a call about a child wandering alone. It‘s not immediately clear if the child is related to any of the victims. Police are not sure if they are looking for one shooter, or more, and they are not sure if the person responsible is among the dead. All five bodies have been taken to Indianapolis where autopsies will be performed.
