Plan Would Start Charging Columbus Residents For Trash, Recycling

The Columbus City Council heard a proposal last night that could significantly change the way the city collects garbage. Included in the plan is a mandatory monthly fee that could cost each trash-throwing household hundreds of dollars a year, but would also include the city’s first curbside recycling program.
