Noon Edition airs on Fridays at noon on WFIU. 

Each spring, we invite graduating high school seniors to come on Noon Edition and talk about their experiences and give us some insight into what their lives might look like after leaving the high school hallways.

This year's seniors will be the second class to graduate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before reaching the milestone of graduation this spring, the class of 2021 saw a number of historical events including: nationwide protests calling for an end to police brutality against Black and brown people, a presidential election, an insurrection at the capitol, and the rollout of the COVID vaccine.

On this week’s show, we’ll be joined by high school seniors from Bloomington and the surrounding areas who will talk about their experiences, plans moving forward, and what it’s been like to finish up their time in high school during a pandemic. 

They have varying career and educational goals, which vary from vocational school to attending college or university.
