Monroe Library Renovation Aims to Streamline Operation, Cut Costs


As libraries around the state are closing due to recessionary pressure and reduced funding from property tax collections, the Monroe County Public Library is preparing for its first significant renovation in a dozen years. As WFIU’s Daniel Robison reports, the million dollar project aims to cut operating costs in the future.
