Monroe County Officials Investigate Apparent Murder-Suicide

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating what appeared to be a murder-suicide.

The Monroe County Sheriff‘s Department and the Monroe County Coroner’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide.

Monroe County Coroner Nicole Meyers says the two have been identified as Kelly Doane Emerick, 48, of Bloomington and William D. “Randy” Roudebush, 42, and says they were discovered in a home around 6 a.m.

Emerick, 48, was a supervisor for the IU-Health Bloomington Emergency Medical Transport Service.  Roudebush was a firefighter captain at Perry Clear Creek Fire Department, and a firefighter at Ellettsville Fire Department, and White River Township Fire Department.

Autopsies are scheduled for Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Meyers says there are no indications that there is anyone else involved in this situation.
