Michelle Obama Coming To Indiana For Campaign Fundraiser

Michelle Obama is hosting a fundraiser in Indianapolis this month.

The First Lady of the United States will hold a campaign fundraising event for her husband in Indianapolis this month. Michelle Obama will attend a reception July 22 at the Indiana State Museum.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the presidential campaign of President Obama. Cost for the event ranges from $100 to $10,000.

Mitt Romney’s campaign has outpaced the Obama campaign in fundraising.  Romney raised $17 million more than Obama in May and $35 million more in June, NPR reports.

In an email to NPR, Obama campaign manager Jim Messina admitted that the gap has Obama’s team on alert.

“If Romney’s fundraising continues at this pace we could lose the election,” he said.
