Lady Antebellum To Perform For Henryville Students

Lady Antebellum is trying to raise funds for the victims of the tornadoes in Indiana.

Grammy award-winning country music trio Lady Antebellum say they will perform in May for Henryville High School students, whose school suffered heavy tornado damage earlier this month. The band decided to play for Henryville as part of their “Own the Prom Night” contest where schools across the country could submit video entries to entice the group to play at their school prom.

The winning entry came from Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg, Indiana which is in the same school district as Henryville High School. Other schools from across the country also urged the band to perform for Henryville.

Lady Antebellum said Tuesday that they cannot make the school’s scheduled prom date in April due to a previous commitment. However, the band has scheduled another event for May 16 in Louisville, Kentucky for Henryville High School juniors and seniors.
