Nicholas Schwab is representing the Dominican Republic in the 200 meter freestyle at his first Olympic games. Schwab finished 18th in the 200 meter individual medley, 18th in the 200 meter breaststroke, and 2st in the 400 meter individual medley at the Big Ten Championships.
Last year at the Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships, Schwab broke a national record and won his first major gold in the 400 meter freestyle.
