Flash Flood Warnings In Effect, Tornado Causes Home Damage

A flash flood warning is in effect for parts of Morgan, Putnam and Clay counties, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning is in effect until 6 p.m.

Flash flood warnings have also been issued for Marion, Monroe, Owen, Hamilton and Hendricks counties until 7:30 p.m.

A tornado is also reported to have touched down in Plainfield. WTHR is reporting the tornado caused some damage to homes in the area.

A trained spotter reported a tornado on the ground in Plainfield and another spotter reported one in Speedway this afternoon.

Several homes were damaged along Raceway Road in Hendricks County near Blue Pine in the Cameron Meadows neighborhood. No injuries were reported.

The same storm then headed towards Meridian Hills, Broad Ripple and Nora, heading toward Fishers and Noblesville.
