Early voting is now underway in Monroe County in the Curry Building located at the corner of 7th and Morton Streets in Bloomington. Voting takes place on Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. County Clerk Linda Robbins says early voting may appeal to a wide range of voters.
“This is especially useful for people who might have trouble getting to the polls, or might be out of town, or it may not be convenient for them on Election Day,” she says.
Robbins says 44 ballots were cast on the first day. Early voting concludes at noon on Monday, November 7.
