Wednesday‘s storms caused tens of thousands of Duke Energy customers to lose power and crews are working feverishly to restore power. Spokeswoman Angeline Protogere said some of the hardest hit areas — such as Terre Haute, Columbus, Bloomington, Seymour, Greensburg and Bedford may not see power restored until 11 p.m. Saturday. She said many customers will get their power back before then, but there might be isolated cases that could stretch beyond that time. Power is expected to be restored in Sullivan, Vincennes, Shelbyville, Corydon/Salem, Madison and Princeton by 11pm Friday.
