Cold Front May Bring Snow, Sleet and Freezing Rain Saturday

Monroe County roads were still icy Tuesday morning, but its travel status has dropped to "advisory."

A light mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is possible by Saturday due to an approaching cold front.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service say minor snow accumulations and light icing is possible.

A bigger threat for snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected Saturday night into Sunday.

Travelers should be aware of slick road conditions this weekend.
