Head Indiana University Basketball Coach Tom Crean says the team has greatly improved its game since the beginning of the season.

Indiana University Head Basketball Coach Tom Crean says his team is ready to take on Kentucky tonight in the Sweet 16.    Crean says as far as preparation and where his players are at, he feels really good heading into the game against Kentucky in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

“It‘s a big stage and you never know how the game is going to go but as far as preparation, as far as where the guys are at, tremendous but I‘m sure most people feel like that this time of year,” says Crean.

The Hoosiers upset number one seed Kentucky at the buzzer in December.  Crean says his players are not going to rest on their laurels in this game.

“Make sure that our energy‘s high and just keep locked in, feel very confident in what we‘re trying to do. Watch as much film of ourselves as we do of Kentucky,” says Crean.  “We‘ve watched a lot of Kentucky this week.”

The game begins at 9:45 in Atlanta. The winner will face either Baylor or Xavier in the Elite 8 on Sunday.
