Bloomington Police say nothing of significance has come from an inquiry into a case involving a missing female student in Louisiana. The Bloomington Police Department had confered with the Lafayette Police Department because of similarities between the disappearances of 21-year-old Michaela Shunick and and Indiana University student Lauren Spierer.
In a statement the BPD said it has made inquiries to several law enforcement agencies in the past year for such things as “missing person investigations, unidentified bodies or suspects arrested by other jurisdictions for serious crimes.”
Officials say they will continue to make similar inquires.
