Black Expo CEO Joins ISU Trustees

TERRE HAUTE, IN — Governor Mitch Daniels has appointed Indiana Black Expo CEO Tanya Bell as a trustee at Indiana State University. Bell says she wants to test the waters before she attempts to make any changes.

“First I’d hope to come on board and understand what the goals and priorities are for the university and then move off of that,” Bell said.

Bell will continue as the head of the Black Expo. She is an ISU alumna. She graduated with a degree in social studies in 1997. The Terre Haute native also earned her law degree at Indiana University in 2000.
