Last week, we told you about the state's new slow lane law, which allows police to fine left-lane drivers up to $500 if they "reasonably know" a car behind them is trying to pass and still don't get over.
When we asked if the law was enforceable, an overwhelming majority said no.
Here's what you had to say about the law itself.
Responses have been edited for style and clarity.
Some people are pretty excited about it.
Of the 87 written responses we received in our survey, 18 showed outright support for the measure. Several respondents used the term "love" to express their support.
"At last! I love this. Wish more Indiana drivers knew the rule of using left lane to pass only."
"Love it. I'm driving 95 tonight on my way home."
"I think it is great. Slow left-lane drivers cause others to pass on the right which can lead to dangerous situations."
"I welcome it. It is the responsibility of the law enforcement community to regulate speeders not a bunch of control freaks with cell phones."
"Long overdue. The idiocy of drivers 'parking' in the left lane slows traffic and increases frustration and road rage."
"Strongly support! Many people create dangerous traffic congestion with continuous left lane driving. Most speedometers are not accurate, and people who think they are driving exactly at the speed limit may actually be going slower."
"It is long overdue. But it is unfortunate that a law has to be passed to invoke common sense and basic courtesy."
Others outright oppose the law.
Compared to the 18 responses in favor of the law, 43 respondents wrote in outright opposition.
"It's another legislative waste of time which has characterized our governing processes for far too long."
"This law is ludicrous. Logically, it makes it illegal to drive in the left lane at any speed: if you drive at or below the speed limit, you are violating this law, while if you drive any faster, then by definition you are speeding."
"An unenforceable overreaction to an occasional problem."
"It is wrong to penalize people for driving the speed limit! It is wrong to basically give people who exceed the speed limit the right of way over those following the speed limit."
"My biggest problem with the law is that our legislators even spent five minutes on it. There are much bigger issues for them to discuss than something like this."
"Ridiculous. If I am going the speed limit or a little above and a car needs to pass me they can pass in the right lane. It seems that the person on my tail should be the one ticketed."
"I have not had any real problems with slow left lane drivers. The law is unnecessary and the fine way too excessive."
"In what was already a very bad legislative session, this law is incomparably stupid. It says that even if you are going as fast as the speed limit, you can be fined because someone behind you wants to break the law. Unless the following vehicle is an ambulance, there is no justification for this."
Some who responded have mixed feelings about it.
More than two dozen people voiced both support and concern for the measure in their responses.
"Speaking from self interest, it would be nice, but I don't think it can be applied reasonably nor consistently."
"The fine seems high, but I agree with the intention."
"I agree in principle, but the $500 fine seems stiff. Maybe implementing graduating fines starting at $100, and a fourth offense hitting $500."
"I'm not convinced it is needed, but I don't like slow drivers in the left lane either!"
"Mixed feelings. If you pull over when someone is speeding, sometimes you get trapped behind a vehicle moving slower than yourself."
