With a bill still in the works which could arm school personnel, what does the mayor have to say about schools in his area adding more armed officers?
Mayor Bennett says he’s supportive of the Vigo County School Corporation’s push to add more officers to schools, and says he doesn’t think it’s an abdication of the notion that schools are inherently safe places.
Also, the mayor returns from a visit with Washington lawmakers and implores them to spend less in D.C. and more on local projects.
