“Indiana Legends” is a documentary series telling the stories of famous Hoosiers in science, government, discovery, law, education, industry, medicine, sports, literature, religion, and the arts.
Known as the Crossroads of America, the state of Indiana has produced many figures of local and national prominence. Legendary Hoosiers span the centuries, from William Henry Harrison (ninth President of the United States) in the early 19th century to renowned violinist Joshua Bell in the 21st. In chronicling the lives of the Indiana’s most remarkable sons and daughters, “Indiana Legends” crafts a vivid and intimate portrait of the state and its citizens.
