Swing in September

WFIU Public Radio and the Department of Jazz Studies at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music are partnering to host the Swing in September concert series. Much like Jazz in July only during a different month and in a different location!

The concerts will be held each Friday night of the month on September 3, 10, 17, and 24. All concerts will take place this year in Dunn Meadow on the Indiana University campus (corner of N Indiana Ave and E 7th Street)*.

All concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m. and are FREE and open to the public.

You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or picnic blankets. Food and drink (non-alcoholic only) are welcome as well.

Free parking is available after 5 p.m. in the Poplars Garage, 415 E 6th St. Restroom facilities are available in the Indiana Memorial Union.

Please plan to follow all current Covid related guidelines.

*The rain site for all concerts is Recital Hall, 1201 E 3rd Street. Tune in to WFIU or check the Swing in September event web site for the most up-to-date information in case of weather-related concerns.
