Noon Edition

Year in Review 2011

Money woes continued to be a problem all year long. The U.S. Government was in near gridlock as the two sides of the aisle duked it out over the apparent budget deficit crisis. Taxes and spending cut proposals were thought up and disposed of faster than any congressional page could keep track of. At one point, a Congressional "Super Committee" was appointed with the idea that a small group might be able to make inroads toward an agreement between the parties, but alas, ideologies could not be reconciled and the situation seems almost insurmountable.
