It's snowing (again) in Chicago, but all things considered, my first winter in the city hasn't been so bad. A few frigid snaps, one major blizzard, but nothing compared to the polar vortex of yesteryear.

This Sunday marks the first day of March -- a month I always considered the beginning of a warm-up when I lived farther south. Although it may be wishful thinking for those of us in the upper Midwest (and other parts of the country), let's take a look at five posts to prepare for spring.
