Cousin Sally’s Favorite Cranberry Dressing

Whole orange slices, and raw cranberries give this relish a surprising, bright, pop--sure to rouse you from your turkey dinner stupor.

Freeze the orange wedges and cranberries before chopping in the food processor. This relish whips up in minutes.

This is a great dish to serve either frozen or thawed with your Holiday Roast. I even like it served as a dessert over sliced oranges.

Cousin Sally’s Favorite Cranberry Dressing

Yield: 3 cups

  • 1 unpeeled orange, cut into eighths, seeded and frozen
  • 1 12-ounce package Frozen Cranberries
  • 3/4-1 cup sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  1. Place half the cranberries and half the orange slices and half the sugar and spices in food processor container. Process until mixture is evenly chopped.
  2. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Repeat.
  4. Stir in a pinch of salt.
  5. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
