How Many Calories Are In A Steak Quesadilla From Taco Bell?

tacobell

The legislation that would force food establishments to put calorie information on their menus is being challenged by some major food outlets like Dominos and KFC. But not in the way you'd probably think.

Though you'd imagine fast food heavyweights like that would be fighting to keep calorie information off their menus (who knows exactly what's in a KFC chicken bowl or whatever they're called), they're actually asking for it to apply to more establishments.

Right now it only applies to the top 25 percent of food retailers, but Yum, Inc. (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell) and others are calling for it to apply to any establishment with $1 million in annual sales or at least three locations.

It's hard to imagine these major fast food places calling for this, they have to have another proverbial horse in the race, wouldn't you think? What do they get out of this?
