Episode 50 - Exploring Films In The Making War/Making Peace Series
On this week's episode, we invite Maria Bucur from the History department to talk about the Making War/Making Peace series, part of Themester. We also get a chance to talk about the many offshoot series of films showing at the Cinema as well.
We start off with What Have You Seen Lately, with Jason covering the new film Apollo 18. Andy saw a ton of new films, including some newer films, Cinema showings, and older films. We also cover the new alien invasion film Attack The Block.
We then chat with our guest Maria about Themester. This is the third year for the series, and besides Cinema events, she details some of the guest speakers and class curriculums included.
There are so many films in this series that we didn't get to discuss them all in-depth, but listen in and whet your appetite for this extensive set of films.
