A Place For Film: December Recommendations

Asa Butterfield and Chloe Moretz in Hugo.

Episode 63 - December Recommendations

On this week's episode, we take a break from the Cinema rat race and relax with some recommendations. Joining us is Craig Simpson from the Lilly Library.

We start out with What Have You Seen Lately, and it's another light week for Jason, while Andy will not shut up about his films. We also get into a long discussion about Scorsese's new film Hugo. Craig throws in some Hitchcock and Rosselini films.

Then we get into the Recommendations game. The Recommendations game is when we pick a category, and all try to pick a movie in that category.

The categories this week are:

A Railroad Movie

A Remake You Prefer To The Original

A Dickens Adaptation

A Movie With An Accurate Portrayal Of Your Profession

A Hitchcock-ian Film Not Directed By Hitchcock

A Great Movie With A Bad Performance

A Non-Sci-Fi Film Set In A Sci-Fi Atmosphere

Find us on our Facebook page to tell us what movies you would have picked.
