Don't Forget to Turn Off the Light!

In the case of saving energy, a little can go a long way.

With just the slightest effort you can not only save money on the energy bill, but you will really make a big difference in the environment. Turn off the lights when you leave the room. Wash your clothes with cooler water.

You may have heard tidbits like these before... MANY times probably. However, a new study is looking into how energy used in the home affects the total carbon emissions from big power plants.

The results showed that the previously-estimated carbon emission savings due to using small appliances more efficiently was as much as 60 percent too low. So don't forget to turn off the television set when you're not watching it!
