This week on Afterglow we'll feature two new releases from pianist Brad Mehldau-House on Hill, a final document of his longrunning trio with bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jorge Rossy, and also Love Sublime, an album of piano/vocal duets with classical singer Renee Fleming, performing excerpts from poems by Rainer Maria Rilke and Louise Bogan set to music by Mehldau.
In addition, we'll have two sets of songs from Nat King Cole's late-1950s Spanish-language albums, as well as music from Roy Hargrove, Charlie Byrd, Blossom Dearie, Chet Baker, and Howard McGhee.
